Ministry of Education

Showquest is supported by the Ministry of Education to provide creative platforms for ākonga around Aotearoa. The Ministry of Education have supported Showquest since the launch in 2017.

Ministry of Youth Development

Showquest has partnered with the Ministry of Youth Development to run a Creative Leadership Development programme, providing additional opportunities to student leaders.

Rockshop

We are very grateful for the support of our good friends at Rockshop. Rockshop is the biggest chain of its kind in Aotearoa with – currently - 23 stores nationwide. They’ve got epic products, amazing staff and they love supporting local rangatahi and the NZ music industry as a whole. 

ZM

ZM have been on board as our media partner since the beginning and we are very grateful for their ongoing support. Each live event will feature an epic ZM MC and you can listen out to ZM in your region for Showquest info, results and competitions!

World of WearableArt

Our wearable art competition Toi is run in collaboration with World of WearableArt. The team at WOW are delighted to be giving the next generation of New Zealand wearable art designers a chance to shine and showcase their creativity.

Rockquest Promotions

RQP run seven creative development platforms for kiwi ākonga nationwide - Smokefreerockquest, Rockshop Bandquest, Smokefree Tangata Beats, Showquest, Toi, OnScreen & Stills (add links). It all began in 1988 when two music teachers - Pete Rainey & Glenn Common started a school music contest in Christchurch. Check out the history here

Bernina NZ

Thanks to our friends at Bernina for their support of Toi. Junior & Senior national finalist Toi student designers will win a sewing machine prize package from Bernina.

The Fabric Store

Huge thanks to the good people at The Fabric Store, who are providing gift vouchers for the 1st Place Junior and Senior Toi designers in 2023. These students will be able to score some premium fabrics to continue making and creating with.
